Situated in the industrial heart of Amman, Jordan, Sabra Metals has established itself as a trusted name for precision-engineered aluminium solutions. We take particular pride in our expertise with Aluminium 6061 Forgings, where we combine advanced manufacturing techniques with a deep understanding of material science. Our commitment is to deliver components that don’t just meet specifications but exceed expectations, providing our clients across the region and beyond with the reliability and strength essential for demanding applications.
Aluminium 6061 is a versatile alloy primarily composed of magnesium and silicon, which gives it its notable strength. This composition results in excellent mechanical properties, including strong resistance to corrosion and impressive toughness. Through the controlled process of forging, we enhance these inherent qualities, creating parts with a refined grain structure that significantly boosts their durability and fatigue strength, making them suitable for high-stress environments where failure is not an option.

Aluminum 6061 offers excellent strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, machinability, weldability, and thermal conductivity, making it ideal for custom forgings in aerospace, automotive, and structural applications.
Aluminum 6061 is not ideal for high-temperature forging due to its lower melting point and limited high-temperature strength. It is better suited for structural applications, not extreme heat environments.
Aluminum 6061's workability allows for easier forging, as it has good formability, high strength, and excellent machinability. It requires careful temperature control to avoid cracking during the forging process.
The strength and reliability of our 6061 forgings make them indispensable in a wide array of critical sectors. They are the backbone of heavy-duty automotive and transportation components, form the structural framework in aerospace assemblies, and are essential in robust marine hardware. Beyond these, you’ll find them in high-performance sporting equipment and throughout various industrial machinery, proving their worth wherever a combination of light weight, formidable strength, and long-term dependability is required for success.
